What we do with your details.
Plain English, and short, because there is not much to tell.

What we collect
If you fill in the enquiry form we receive your name, and whichever of these you chose to give us: company name, phone number, email address, the type of work, your postcode and your message. Nothing on that form is collected without you typing it.
If you call, email or message us instead, we have whatever you send us that way.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. We do not build a profile of you, and we cannot see who visits this site.
Why we have it, and on what basis
To answer your enquiry, survey the work and quote for it. The lawful basis is that you asked us to — taking steps at your request before entering into a contract — and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us about work.
Who else sees it
An enquiry is delivered to our inbox by Resend, an email service, using their European servers. It is hosted on Netlify, who serve this website. Our own mail is with Microsoft. Each of those handles the message only to deliver or store it for us — none of them use it for their own purposes, and we do not sell, share or pass your details to anyone else.
How long we keep it
2 years from the last time we heard from you, then it is deleted. If the enquiry turns into work, the paperwork for that job is kept longer where we are required to — for example certification and service records for fire shutters and fire curtains, which exist so they can be produced for an insurer or fire officer.
What this site stores on your device
One item, remembering that you have already seen the shutter animation so it does not play again on every page. It contains no personal information and is gone when you close the tab. There are no cookies on this site.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to delete it. You can object to us holding it, or ask us to restrict what we do with it. Email enquiries.eagleshutters@outlook.com and we will deal with it within a month. There is no charge.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your details badly, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
